About MW

MW was originally a day to celebrate the life of my mom Maria ELena Escobar SAvedraa (Melesa). Through the years, people began sharing their stories and I realized MW was more than just a day to remember my mother. It became a way to honor the memory of the loved ones of others and raise awareness. Together we have raised over $70K for Memorial Sloan Kettering to help fight the battle. 

When the next new breakthrough is announced in cancer research, I want to know that I was part of making it happen and It would mean that much more to me if you would join me in the effort so I can say that we helped make it happen.
